Two kids, two ages, one smart system. The Family Carrier is designed for families with a baby and a toddler, making it easy to carry both at the same time – hands-free, comfortable, and practical.

The Family Carrier combines our Toddler Carrier (6m–20kg) and our Clip-On Carrier (0m–15kg). Carry your toddler safely on your back while keeping your little baby close on your front – or use each carrier separately whenever you only need one.

The Family Carrier - how it works

The Minimonkey Family Carrier is a smart solution for carrying siblings at the same time — one in the front and one on your back. The family system is made up of three components:
-> A pair of connectors – these are used to link the two carriers together.
-> Two individual carriers – the Minimonkey Toddler Carrier and the Clip-On Carrier.

🟡 Baby Carrier (Back)
This is our Minimonkey Toddler Carrier with fixed shoulder straps and magnetic buckles.
In the tandem setup, this carrier is worn on your back. The connectors attach to the shoulder straps, allowing you to clip the ‘Clip-On Carrier’ to it.

🟡 Clip-On Carrier (Front)
This carrier looks similar to our standard Baby Carrier but has removable shoulder straps.
When using it in the family setup, you remove the shoulder straps and simply clip the front panel onto the shoulder straps of the toddler carrier on your back. This way, the Clip-On Carrier is securely worn on your front.

💡 Both carriers can also be used individually — for front or back carrying one baby/ toddler.

💡 Only the Clip-On Carrier is suitable for newborns. 

Remove shoulder straps

To prepare the Clip-On Carrier for family carrying, you first need to remove the shoulder straps. Here’s how to do it:

1. Slide the covers upwards to reveal the clips underneath
2. Open the clips by pressing the release buttons

3. Remove the shoulder straps from the carrier

Done! You’re now ready to connect the Clip-On Carrier to the shoulder straps of the Toddler Carrier on your back.
