The Tandem Baby Carrier - how it works
The Minimonkey Tandem Baby Carrier is a smart solution for carrying two babies at the same time — one in the front and one on your back. The tandem system is made up of three components:
-> A pair of connectors – these are used to link the two baby carriers together.
-> Two individual baby carriers – the Minimonkey Baby Carrier and the Clip-On Carrier.
🟡 Baby Carrier (Back)
This is our standard Minimonkey Baby Carrier with fixed shoulder straps and magnetic buckles.
In the tandem setup, this carrier is worn on your back. The connectors attach to the shoulder straps, allowing you to clip the ‘Clip-On Carrier’ to it.
🟡 Clip-On Carrier (Front)
This carrier looks similar to our standard Baby Carrier but has removable shoulder straps.
When using it in the tandem setup, you remove the shoulder straps and simply clip the front panel onto the shoulder straps of the baby carrier on your back. This way, the Clip-On Carrier is securely worn on your front.
💡 Both carriers can also be used individually — for front or back carrying one baby.

To prepare the Clip-On Carrier for tandem carrying, you first need to remove the shoulder straps. Here’s how to do it:
- Slide the covers upwards to reveal the clips underneath
- Open the clips by pressing the release buttons

Done! You’re now ready to connect the Clip-On Carrier to the shoulder straps of the Baby Carrier on your back.
